Three Big Updates From PPC This Month
1. Microsoft Expands Into New Markets
Microsoft continues to invest in their global expansion, entering 58 new markets, meaning its audience ads are now served in 187 countries across the globe.
Audience ads are Microsoft’s native ads that are optimised for search advertisers and reach your ideal audience based on people’s interests and preferences. They allow advertisers to expand their reach across Microsoft’s properties such as MSN, and Outlook. Start and more, offering further growth opportunities.
In the last couple of years, Microsoft has seriously grown their global presence in order to stay competitive in the digital advertising world which has led to them reaching more customers and audiences than ever before. Could this be a cause for concern for Google?
2. Google’s ACAs available in 7 new languages
Initially only available for running campaigns in English, Google Ads have now rolled out automatically created ads to seven new languages: Dutch, German, French, Japanese, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese.
Although ACAs may not be applicable to every industry, particularly those with strict compliance standards, they can still boost the effectiveness of ads in search campaigns.
The good news is we still have the option of whether we want to activate this feature or not through campaign settings.
3. New AI Tool Launched To Optimise Youtube Ads
Google Ads has introduced a new feature to ensure your YouTube campaigns are as effective as possible. Known as Creative Guidance, this feature will now be available through recommendations and has been integrated into Video Analytics.
Why is this important?
Ultimately this tool will offer feedback on your Youtube campaigns, including flagging certain attributes that are missing. You’ll get suggestions and actionable steps on how to optimise your campaign, saving time and boosting your video ads performance.
As always, with it being a new feature Google has announced that further attributes will be introduced to this tool in the near future.
