Pay-Per-Click, What can it do for you?
Pay-per-click or ppc as it’s commonly known as is often deemed as something only huge corporate companies can afford.
I suppose what i’d like to do is provide business owners in various different industries a clear insight into what ppc is and what it could do for you, and also how it can potentially give you the financial freedom to take you to the next level.
First of all, what is ppc?. PPC is effectively a way of paying for traffic to your website. There are many ways in ppc in which you can do that, see the 2 most common examples below;
Google search network – The below results are big brands competing for search traffic for the generic term “Black trainers”.
Google search is a great way to put forward your business’ unique selling points in order to encourage users to choose you over your competitors regardless of your ad position
Google Shopping – As you can see, google shopping is very different to google search, product imagery, product title & price are very important.
The bidding process for google shopping is product based rather than keyword based, Therefore it’s important to have highly relevant, keyword rich product titles.
Other PPC campaigns may include;
Remarketing Campaigns – Re-targeting users which have visited your site and non converting first time. We can re-target all visitors at separate intervals of the buyer funnel. For example,
all visitors non converters in the last 30/60/90 days.
Users which have added to cart and then left the site
Users which have not fully completed a lead form
Display Campaigns – Display ads can help you promote your business when people are browsing online, watching YouTube videos, checking Gmail, or using mobile devices and apps. The Google Display Network reaches 90% of Internet users worldwide, across millions of websites, news pages, blogs, and Google sites like Gmail and YouTube.
DSA – Dynamic search ads – This is where we input a selected URL as a dynamic ad target and google will automatically generate headlines for users they deem relevant to the chosen landing page. These work great alongside normal search campaigns as you can essentially use it to “fill the gaps” and find search terms which users are typing in for that landing page to appear.
As you can see, there are a huge number of avenues which you can take when it comes to PPC.
And it’s our job to identify the most suited campaigns for your business. Whether you’re an e-commerce business or lead gen, and whether you have a £1,000 monthly budget or £100,000. There’s always opportunities to help you reach the next level within your sector.
Marketing is arguably the most important & powerful factor when it comes to business.
I suppose there’s no use in having a high quality product or service if you’re not going to shout from the rooftops about it!
