Exciting times at Embryo!

We have officially entered into the final quarter of 2020 (I think we can all agree how happy we are at that news), so I wanted to take this opportunity to reflect on the recent exciting team members that we have welcomed into our team at Embryo and provide you with an insight to the people delivering results for our lovely clients!

SEO

First of all, a big congratulations to Ronnie Cane who has recently been promoted from SEO Executive to SEO Account Manager with us. Ronnie has been a part of our team for nearly two years now and he has seen the team grow from five to 28! A huge well done Ronnie, we can’t wait to see you progress even further in the team and continue to see the fantastic results you deliver for your clients! Here’s what Ronnie had to say about his recent promotion…

“After joining Embryo in 2018 as the fifth member of the team – back in our old Stretford office – I’ve always enjoyed getting stuck in on our big projects internally. So, being given the opportunity as SEO Account Manager to manage, strategise and work on some exciting clients is something I’m incredibly thrilled about!”

This isn’t the only positive news for the search team as we have now welcomed our fifth SEO team member James Evans. James has been in the Digital Marketing industry for five years now and here’s what he had to say about joining our team…

“I joined Embryo because I was looking for a new and challenging opportunity to expand my knowledge within the SEO industry. They offered me a great vision for career progression and an amazing working environment, so it was hard to turn that down! I am really excited to see where my journey leads and to see where I can help their business grow. It’s always interesting to see where your knowledge and expertise fit into a new company!”

Content and Digital PR

The content team have now teamed up with our fabulous new Head of Digital PR, Jo Threlfall. We are all super excited to see the level of creativity she is going to bring to her Digital PR campaigns not only for ourselves but also for our clients! I’m sure we can expect to see some festive PR campaigns pending very soon! Here’s what Jo has to say about the future of her very own Digital PR team…

“I joined Embryo because I wanted to join a team who was passionate about the future of digital and would utilise my skills and knowledge to its maximum capacity. I also like how the agency was based in Manchester and is continuing to grow and hire incredible talent.

I’m excited to see how the agency will evolve as we are continuing to grow and win great clients. We’ve also had the opportunity to work on great campaigns and retain some amazing results for businesses in competitive industries. However, I look forward to watching the digital PR team flourish and share their successes”

Social Media

Since we first employed our Head of Paid Social, Harriet Tuite, she has led the department from a small one-person team to one of the biggest departments in the business, with two extra team members by her side. They consistently deliver fantastic results for our client social media campaigns, one of which has been recognised and shortlisted for the ‘Best Social Media Campaign’ at the Northern Marketing Awards 2020. We could not be happier for this department and are looking forward to officially welcome its third team member in November, Lauren Kirkland. See Lauren’s fabulous insight into her passion for social media and what she is most excited about being a part of #TeamEmbryo!

Why did you choose to work at Embryo?

“I chose to work at Embryo mainly because they seem like such an innovative and passionate team, and really put their clients first! It also sounds like it has such a supportive and encouraging company culture, and is somewhere where you can really excel and drive your career forward. All the good vibes.”

What is your favourite thing about Social Media?

“My favourite thing is how powerful and influential it really is! And, it’s not even reached it’s full potential yet. It has the power to change societal norms (for good) and is always relevant – I think that’s pretty cool.”

What are you most excited about at Embryo?

“I’m most excited to continuously learn from and be surrounded by a like-minded, driven team of people! I can’t wait to absorb their expert knowledge, work with brand new clients in new industries, and fully immerse myself in all things Embryo culture watching it go from strength to strength.

PPC

Similar to the social media team, our PPC department has certainly evolved side by side with them, going from strength to strength since January this year, where we now have a strong team of three producing incredible ROA (return on ad spend) throughout their campaigns. As of Thursday the 8th of October, we gave a warm welcome to yet another ‘Callum’ in our PPC team. See Callum’s interesting thoughts on the pay per click industry and why he chose to work with Embryo below.

Why did you choose to work at Embryo?

“I chose to join Embryo based on their ethos and approach to digital marketing. Instead of putting their profits as the main priority, Embryo put their clients’ success first. This approach leads to a happier client base which in turn makes the working environment a lot better as we are all working towards one end goal.”

What is your favourite thing about PPC?

“I love PPC for two reasons, the first being that it deals with a lot of analytical data in which you can use to optimise campaigns further. I’ve always thought making data-driven changes was the way to go, so PPC is a natural fit for me. The main reason I love PPC is the fact that you can see the impact you are having on a businesses growth, and seeing a client go from strength to strength through their paid efforts does really make the job worth it.”

What are you most excited about at Embryo?

“What I am most excited about at Embryo is their team. Every member of the team is truly passionate about honing their craft and ensuring that our clients receive not only the best results but also the best customer service. This environment is great to be around as it constantly pushes you to be the best that you can be.

It has certainly been a very challenging year for us all, but our team have continued to work extremely hard going above and beyond for each other as well as the lovely clients that we are so lucky to work with.

If you would like to get to know our team a bit better and discuss how they can help run some digital marketing campaigns for your business (even some festive ones) as we enter the last quarter of 2020, then get in touch with us today and we will be happy to help!
