Overview.
Player+ provides users with a premium streaming experience, bringing together the best in sports, music, and live performances – all in one place. When they initially approached us, the platform was actively scaling its presence within the highly competitive entertainment sector.
They needed a content partner capable of matching their rapid pace. Player+ didn’t just need content writing services – they needed high-level strategic oversight to ensure their upcoming major launches cut through the noise. Crucially, they also required an agile team that could provide hands-on support directly to their roster of high-profile artists and partners.

Laying the foundations.
Before tackling the major event releases, we played a central role in shaping the overarching content strategy. We focused on thoughtful content planning and establishing strong core messaging. This involved mapping out audience engagement tactics and crafting a tailored voice for both the company’s main social channels and the personal profile of CEO Rich Jacobs.
A full-funnel approach.
Building on this groundwork, our strategy for Player+’s major broadcasts and listings was to build comprehensive, full-funnel campaigns. The primary goal was to ensure the content didn’t simply promote a stream, but genuinely resonated with both the Player+ brand identity and the unique voices of the performing artists or host venues themselves.
Implementation and creativity.
Running multi-artist campaigns.
Following the success of the Duran Duran release, we rolled out similar strategic implementations for several other big-name broadcasts. This included campaigns for Chicago & Friends “Live at 55”, Band of Skulls “Live at the Marquis”, KALEO “Viva Roma” and Teenage Cancer Trust’s 2026 concert series.
The Teenage Cancer Trust events in particular required careful adaptation to multiple brand voices. We created product pages, announcement posts, and emails, tailoring the tone for the charity itself, Player+, and headline acts like Elbow and Garbage.
Collaborating with global icons.
We put our strategy into action to facilitate the launch of “Secret Oktober”, the exclusive concert film of legendary band Duran Duran, on the Player+ platform. Collaborating closely with the marketing teams of both Player+ and Duran Duran, we developed a full-funnel content marketing campaign that encompassed email sequences, social media copy, and supporting promotional materials for Spotify.
The results.
Our campaign work successfully positioned Player+ as a thought leader in the streaming space. Through highly targeted, partner-aligned social media campaigns, we elevated their industry presence, deepened their fan engagement, and significantly boosted follower growth across Meta and LinkedIn.
