Digital PR Executive

Salary: £25k+ dependent on experience
Location: Manchester (hybrid)

We’re looking for someone who is naturally curious about news, media and what makes a story get noticed.

You’ll support the delivery of Digital PR campaigns across outreach, reactive PR, media research and coverage tracking. You’ll learn how to write pitches journalists actually want to read, spot opportunities in breaking news and trends, and understand how Digital PR supports wider Organic and SEO performance.

You’ll also work closely with our SEO, Content and Social teams, giving you a broad understanding of how modern Organic marketing works.

Key responsibilities:

• Supporting outreach across Digital PR campaigns, including writing and sending media pitches
• Monitoring news, trends and journalist requests to identify reactive PR opportunities
• Researching journalists and publications and building targeted media lists
• Tracking campaign coverage and supporting client reporting
• Supporting campaign research, ideas and delivery
• Building relationships with journalists and developing your understanding of different media sectors
• Working with SEO, Content and Social teams to identify opportunities and maximise campaign impact

Skills and experience:

• Experience in PR, journalism, marketing, content or a related area, or a relevant degree
• Strong writing skills and the ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely
• A genuine interest in news, current affairs, media and online trends
• Strong research, organisation and attention to detail
• Comfortable working at pace and reacting quickly when opportunities arise
• Proactive, curious and keen to learn
• Resilient and comfortable with the fact that not every pitch will result in coverage
• An interest in developing your knowledge of Digital PR, SEO and wider Organic marketing
