Affiliate Manager
Working pattern: Hybrid (2 days on site)
This is a new and exciting opportunity for a passionate Affiliate Executive to join our fast-growing team based in Manchester. We’re looking for someone who can support our Affiliate Manager in the planning and execution of Affiliate campaigns across our client base, as well as manage their own small portfolio of clients.
Role Responsibilities:
- Campaign management – plan campaigns and arrange exposure for your clients.
- Publisher recruitment – research and recruit new publishers to client’s programmes.
- Publisher communication – keep publishers informed of client offers through network newsletters, send outreach emails to new partners and support the Affiliate Manager in day-to-day communication where needed.
- Administrative tasks – carry out day-to-day administrative tasks across clients such as publisher approvals, validations and ad-hoc reporting where needed.
- Publisher and network relationship management – develop relationships with publishers and networks through strong communication.
- New and creative ideas – bring fresh ideas into the Affiliate team and ensure that we remain at the forefront of the very latest Affiliate trends.
- Analysis and reporting – review and analyse programme performance to identify trends in data, areas of opportunity etc.
- Competitor analysis – Research and analyse competitor activity for clients, as well as industry trends and sector-specific opportunities.
- Delivery of work – you will be responsible for the delivery of Affiliate work for your clients.
- Teamwork – you’ll need to be a team player and work with other areas of the business on multi-channel clients. We are a business that likes to help each other out, so showing willingness to help and support others is key.
- Contributions – play an active part in the growth of not only client campaigns but also the wider team and business at Embryo.
- Training – you will receive comprehensive training on improving your Affiliate Marketing knowledge, however, we expect you to be able to manage clients immediately.
Skills and Knowledge:
- You will demonstrate our Company values in your day-to-day interactions with team members and clients.
- Interpersonal skills – Clear and effective communicator. Provide feedback. Ability to actively listen to team members building trust. Resolve conflicts.
- Desirable experience – you should have at least 1 year of Affiliate programme management experience and be comfortable with managing client campaigns of different sizes as well as supporting the Affiliate Manager with day-to-day tasks.
- Software – you should have experience in using affiliate networks, ideally AWIN, Webgains, and Impact. For any other software or tools, training will be provided.
- Communication – you should be comfortable and confident when engaging with clients, publishers and networks and you should have excellent written and verbal communication.
- You will ideally have a good understanding of how Affiliate marketing works with other channels and will collaborate effectively on multi-service clients.
- Time management – we use an extremely efficient workflow management tool to assist in time management, but you should also be confident that your workload is manageable and appropriate deadlines are set and met.
- Passion – you should be passionate about Affiliate Marketing and want to deliver the best results for our clients.
