Embryo has announced the launch of its UK beta pilot for ChatGPT Ads, providing selected brands with early access to advertising within conversational AI environments.
The pilot programme will support a limited number of advertisers through an initial four-week testing phase, giving brands the opportunity to explore how advertising performs within one of the world’s fastest-growing platforms.
A new environment for demand generation
As consumer behaviour continues to evolve beyond traditional search and social channels, platforms like ChatGPT enable context-led advertising inside real conversations, where users are actively researching, comparing and refining decisions.
Early US testing indicates that:
46% of conversations begin with no commercial intent, but evolve into buying consideration
This offers huge potential for brands in categories where users compare options, ask for recommendations or refine choices in conversation, such as:
- E-commerce
- Education
- Professional services
- Financial services
- Entertainment
- Travel
Embryo’s beta pilot will give first-movers in these sectors an insight into how advertising performs in ChatGPT’s high-attention, low-competition environment, while shaping best practice for this emerging channel.
Ross Green, CEO of Embryo, said:
“Conversational AI is rapidly becoming a new discovery channel for consumers, creating opportunities for brands to engage audiences in entirely different ways to traditional search or social advertising.
We’re proud to be amongst the first independent agencies to launch a UK beta pilot for ChatGPT Ads through our global media partnerships. I can’t wait to share the findings from our initial pilots later this summer.”
