
Embryo appoints Tom Hemingway as Head of Digital PR

Manchester-based full-service performance marketing agency Embryo has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Tom Hemingway as Head of Digital PR, as the agency continues to expand its PR and search capabilities.
Hemingway brings more than 12 years of PR experience to the role, joining from Ride Shotgun, where he led Digital PR strategy across a range of national and global brands. Prior to that, he spent over three and a half years at Journey Further in the Organic department, delivering PR campaigns across insurance, finance, fashion, tech, home interest and leisure sectors.
His career has also included in-house PR for a portfolio of household drinks brands, including Hooch and Franklin & Sons, as well as agency-side roles managing PR for clients such as Hisense, Diageo, Russell Hobbs and Thomas Cook.
At Embryo, Hemingway will lead the Digital PR team’s growth and direction, focusing on creative, measurable PR campaigns that help brands earn visibility, authority and stand out in a fast-changing search and AI landscape.
