Salary Banding: £24k – £27k
Working pattern: 2 days hybrid in the Manchester office.
Role Responsibilities:
High-quality content writing: You will frequently write well-researched, creative, and fully optimised content for SEO purposes, with excellent spelling and grammar, regardless of the subject matter.
Collaboration: You will work closely with content account managers to interpret briefs and produce engaging, high-quality content. You will follow the strategy laid out by content account managers, adhering to briefs and keyword strategy documents.
Actioning feedback and editing: You will work closely with our content account managers to develop your writing and editing skills, ultimately becoming able to self-edit your work to an exceptional standard.
Work to deadlines: You will deliver high-quality, search-informed content that aligns with client strategy and deadlines.
Training: You will attend training sessions, complete certifications where relevant, and work with senior team members to build your SEO knowledge.
Communication: You will collaborate closely with internal teams to align content with strategy and clearly explain the purpose behind your work.
Skills and Knowledge:
Experience: 1+ years of experience writing marketing content in an agency or freelance capacity.
Basic SEO knowledge: A basic understanding of SEO and keyword research is required.
Passion and growth mindset: You are passionate about content and organic performance, with a proactive approach to personal development. You are open-minded, adaptable, and driven to improve both content quality and strategic understanding.
Collaboration: You build strong, trusted relationships with internal teams and support clients. You position yourself as a reliable contributor to organic content delivery.
Tools: You are confident using basic keyword planning and editing tools.
Flexibility and adaptability: No day is the same in this role, so you must be able to adapt quickly based on the needs of our diverse client base.
Time management: We use workflow management tools to assist in time management, but you should also be confident that your workload is manageable and that appropriate deadlines are set and met.
