Website Project Round-up
Within the web team, we have been exceptionally busy for the first six months of the year, working on a range of different website projects. Below is a round-up of just some of the projects we have delivered so far this year.
The Piece Hall
The Piece Hall is an award-winning contemporary leisure, retail, cultural and heritage destination in the heart of Halifax.
The brief for the project was to create a new website that clearly showcases the three pillars that The Piece Hall have to offer; Culture, Heritage and Trade. It was also important to The Piece Hall team to have an easy-to-use CMS so they can quickly edit content, add new products and manage events.
The inspiration behind the design was to create a journey for users that has more interactivity within the clearly defined areas of the website and also use The Piece Hall brand palette as this wasn’t fully utilised on the previous website.
This is definitely one of our favourite projects so far this year! We were given full creative freedom and were fully trusted by the client to design a new website that was modern, interactive and fully represented The Piece Hall.

The Insurance Octopus
The Insurance Octopus are an independent commercial insurance broker and as specialists in the business insurance market, they identify the best policy for businesses and individuals via their panel of UK insurance partners.
My favourite thing about this project was that it was a full team effort. We worked closely with our PPC, Content and SEO teams to ensure the new website factored in all the things they needed to push their campaigns and gain even better results for the client.
We took on board everything the client was looking for in a new website and created something that now fully represents their brand. We prioritised the quote form journey to ensure customers can quickly supply their information and receive a quote, but also to style the long-form content pages, making them easy to read and find the information they’re looking for.
Content can be easily edited within the CMS and more importantly, new content can be added within minutes using the new page builder. Landing pages for campaigns can also be created without the need of a developer and the website as a whole is far easier to manage and optimise.

Brimstone Enterprises
Brimstone Enterprises specialise in designing products and equipment for their customers which allows them to safely operate in harsh environments.
The main goals for this project were to create a new website for Brimstone that can be easily optimised and support an ongoing SEO and content strategy for the client.
We worked closely with the teams to understand what they would need from the website and ensured this was carried out during the design and development phases. We ensured the website was lightweight and could be fully optimised by our SEO team.
The client wanted to showcase their branding and ensure the website has clear messaging so customers can understand the services and support Brimstone have to offer.
The end result was an optimised WordPress website, ready for the content team to implement their new strategy.

Sheridan Skips
Sheridan Skips are based in the Northwest and offer reliable same-day skip hire and bespoke waste removal services.
As a new business, Sheridan Skips wanted to enter the Skip Hire market with a website that clearly explains what they have to offer. The main consideration for this website was to ensure there were clear calls to actions throughout and also that our content team had different content blocks within the editor to format the long-form content.
We also worked with the PPC team to create a landing page to be used specifically within campaigns.
The end result was an easy-to-use website that customers can use to quickly enquire about Sheridan Skips services.

Jordan & Halstead
Jordan & Halstead pride themselves on being an estate agent and letting agents you can trust. Covering Chester and Cheshire, they have a team of local experts that support you through the selling and home buying process.
For the new website, we wanted to present featured properties whilst also showcasing guides for first-time buyers.
We created new templates for the property pages and integrated the application forms with the clients property management system. One of the key requirements from our SEO team was to make the property pages optimisable and have dedicated location pages for the campaign.
The new website now represents their new branding, makes viewing properties much easier for clients and supports our ongoing marketing strategies.
