Head of PPC
Working pattern: Hybrid, 2 days in the Manchester office per week
Salary banding: £41k – £45k per annum
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior PPC Account Manager to join our fast-growing team. You’ll manage your own client portfolio, drive performance across a range of budgets, and lead on strategy, delivery, and client relationships.
Role Responsibilities:
- Campaign management – Skilled in Shopping and lead generation with proven techniques to maximise results
- Strategy – Work with the Head of PPC to develop proactive strategies, staying ahead of Google & Microsoft updates.=
- Delivery – Take accountability for PPC delivery on some of Embryo’s largest accounts
- Clients – Manage medium-large accounts with budgets exceeding £100k per month
- Relationships – Lead client calls, reporting and strategy sessions with confidence
- Teamwork – Mentor junior staff, with team management experience a plus
- KPIs – Set, track and achieve client KPIs
- Auditing – Review and diagnose performance within Google accounts; pitching experience desirable
- Training – Run training and workshops for junior team members
Line Management Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop junior members of the PPC team
- Role model company values and support team wellbeing
- Recruit, onboard and provide ongoing feedback and development
- Maintain processes, resolve challenges and drive improvements
- Make confident client and team decisions, using in-house tools to innovate
- Ensure commercial accountability for time, costs and client performance
Skills and Knowledge:
- 4+ years’ PPC experience, confident managing large accounts across industries
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Excellent time management and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for PPC, delivering results and driving innovation
- Strong interpersonal skills – clear communicator, trusted partner and conflict resolver
