Wow, what a fantastic start to 2020 for Manchester, with the launch of our report Marketing Manchester 2020 where we took a look back at some of the amazing things that happened in a variety of our growing industries; fashion, tech as well as seeing the high level of expansion the city saw with ever-developing ‘Skyscraper Alley’. Young entrepreneurs Richard Tyrrell and Andrew Bennie founded Manchester Young Professionals (MYP) in 2013 with the aim to bring like-minded young professionals in Manchester closer together and provide them with the opportunity to meet new people, and grow their own personal networks. They run a variety of social events across Manchester at some of the cities most popular places around such as Barry’s Bootcamp, The Stock Exchange Hotel, and many more!

Networking can always be such a scary and feared word for young (and even some of the more mature) people in the business world. I know this because I, myself used to find it really daunting and occasionally still do! However, the guys at MYP are really great at organising fantastic social as well as educational events where I have met people which I am still in contact with today.
